Brian, The 4518 parts mower is a great find. Many of the parts such as the hood are very expensive and I've noticed a few parts are no longer available from Honda for their older equipment.
I've had several encounters like that before with vehicles and equipment, it always a D'oh! moment. One of them wasn't at home. Like when I first got my driver's license and drove my sister's old VW Beetle to my friends house, backed out of his driveway right into a full sized Ford parked in the street. The rear engine VW bug (thin steel rear hood and low bumper) vs the Ford high mount front bumper - back when those Ford bumpers were 1/4" thick steel. The Ford won, not scratch on it. My sister was understanding and loving, but I still had to pay for it. Valuable lesson learned, I think. Tom
