brand of tractor does not mean anything. it's how it's operated. i have seen people use a small tractor of about 20 hp do as much digging as someone else with a 40 hp machine. i would actually prefer a smaller machine, if i could afford another tractor, for work around just a few acres. easy to get in tight spots, less expensive parts, less weight to haul from site to site and much less general overall cost to purchase. a smaller machine just takes a little more patience to get the job done.
