Got a Satoh 79 S550g.It has a small leak.The leak is located at the upper rear of the engine,just behind the gas tank.There is a small 1.5"x1.5" plate where it leaks.My manuals do not address this plate.Wondering if anyone can enlighten me as to it's purpose.Don't want to take it apart.Held on by 4 nuts.Could this be a soft plug?
