If the carb leaks fuel and the fuelpump continues to run check the fuel shut off soleniod valve located on the carb. Check to see if the carb is dumping fuel. I currently have the same problem and found the soleniod not closing. You can check it by removing the soeniod and puting 12 volts to its leads. Hope this helps
