if the temp gauge didn't come on i don't think you have a problem in that area.check the fuel filter if it looks clean pull the hose off the side between the pump and the filter and see if gas is being pumped. if it is, pull other side of filter to see if fuel is going through with filter on pump side. also check gas tank for somthing at the bottom that doesn't belong there grass,plastic ect. after that check for spark right after it quits, could also be cdi unit,$$
