The pto blocker plate attaches to the front of the battery hold-down. Since the tractor has both a 540 and 1000 rpm pto; 540 is all the way forward and 1000 is all the way back, the blocker plate prevents one from accidentially going from 540 rpm to 1000 rpm when disengaging the pto.
