My BX2200 did the same thing. The problem turned out to be gas rather than diesel in the fuel. My wife had refilled with gas not knowing the difference between gas and diesel. Drained the gas tank, replaced all filters, and it ran fine. Apparently, when cold, diesel engines run OK on gasoline but when warmed slowly chug to a stop.
For Steve: There is a recall for the gas tank on the BX2200 to replace the gas gauge sender seal. It just drops in and rain or power washing will allow water to get into the tank. The fix will install a clamp down seal for the gas gauge sender unit. Make sure they align the 2 stage sender correctly otherwise the gauge will only read 3/8 full.
