Has anyone ,other than me, had a problem with the 1235 clutch housing? Mine broke in two, ruined the clutch plate, pressure plate, throw out bearing, pilot bearing. When replacement parts were received there had been an update on this part. It was a reinforcing kit for this part. This led me to believe that MF had had previous problems with the clutch housing. When I spoke to MF's rep in the mid west US I was advised that MF could do nothing for me as I hadn't taken my tractor to an authorized MF dealer. I can't for the life of me understand how going there for a repair has much to do with the fact that the original part was defective or not built to a strong enough standard. I sure would like to hear from anyone who may have experienced a similar problem to find out how you resolved it with MF or if you were able to resolve it satisfactorily. My tractor was past the warantee period but at the time had about 375 hours on it.
