Just bought a 96 model b2100 with 650 actual hours. Unit has full service records. Equipped with Belly mower, HST.
Changed oil and filter, fuel filter and checked coolant. Replaced dead cell battery with new Interstate of correct type.
AT first start Unit starts with some fuel smoke. Once exhaust clears throttles to 2600 rpm with 3 seconds. All functions work fine with plenty of power.
BUT
When running for 5 minutes unit looses power slowly. RPMS drop and engine lugs down. Unit will restart but starts and idles rough.
If I let it sit for a long an hour or more it will start and run just like as described at first start.
Fuel flow to the filter bowl is fine. all return line show some fuel. Injector 2 when cracked lugs engine, injector 1 and 3 when cracked has air bubbles with fuel and barely affect engine speed.
Leaving 1 and 3 cracked doesn't affect the condition.
What is the proper way to bleed injectors?
I was told they would self bleed once the tractor was running.
COuld I be pulling air from somewhere else.
Any other ideas?
I'm going to buy the service manual from an online store first before taking it to the local dealer, but any help is appreciated. I sure would like to save the cash for a box blade vs a tech bill.
Thanks Bob
