Sounds to me that there may be a leak within your joystick for the bucket that is causing the 3-point to lose pressure. If you have the ability to do so, I would try disconnecting the bucket's hydraulic hoses and capping off the connectors to isolate the on-board hydraulics from the bucket. This will allow all the hydraulic pressure to build up internally. If you find that the joystick is at fault, you may be able to get a replacement at a reasonable price thru www.northerntool.com. I'd be interested in hearing what the outcome of your investigation is.
