I will shortly be moving to a mostly wooded 5+ acre location and will be in need of a compact utility tractor. The primary purpose will (unfortunately) be to mow the lawn, but I also anticipate frequent use from a tiller and snow thrower attachment. Since this will probably necessitate a PTO I’d also like to consolidate my power generation to the tractor so I can throw on attachments like a chipper, log splitter, etc. Because of a medical condition often referred to as “being male”, having a backhoe as a potential future addition is a big bonus and I also like the idea of having 4WD for the wooded areas.
I’m currently contemplating a John Deere 4110 and was wondering if anyone had any comments about my choice. The primary reason for my choice was proximity of a John Deere dealer so brand loyalty is not a huge concern. Thanks for your input!
