Must agree with Len, and you can find a nice tractor with a FEL (bucket?) for 5K. Other impliments may be better to add on down the road. If my wife bought me the basic tractor in good condition, I would be delighted and half the fun is matching the attachments as time goes by. A well maintained 3 cyl Yanmar under 1000 hours is 20-25 years old and will go another 25 years if it is maintenanced properly. Parts availability and support is very good on almost all models. Almost always Ebay tractors are reconditioned and imported from VietNam. BAD investment. Used tractors from Japan are the best.And to most of us Older means stronger, better built, proven machines.
