Len,,almost forgot the most important part,,,money,,,you can about buy two chinese nortracs or reconditioned yanmars, for the price of one john deere,or other big three or big four,or ever how many bigs there are,,,,and the chinese tractor will give you more weight and power for the same h.p.,,,those heavy castings again,,,,now it won't give you all the fancy bells and whistles,,and nobody is saying that the chinese tractor is a better tractor than the big uns its just that they are a good tractor worth every penny,,and, the big uns are over priced, but if a person has the money to spend than by all means, spend it,I got a 25 h.p. nortrac,,4wd,,,3 cylinder water cooled desal,,,two stage clutch,,cat 1 three point lift,,,it runs a 5 ft tiller,brushog,,,6 ft back blade,,with power to spare,,,cost under 8,000 new,,,ready to run,,with 6 months parts AND labor,,,I now have over 250 hrs on it,,,and ain't had any problems outside of a couple leaks,,that were easily fixed by me,,,knock on my head,,,thingy
