Well, I'm just about ready to make a purchase. I've spoken to a couple of people living near me who are using the FarmTrac 300 and are very happy with the tractor. I also had an opportunity to operate a John Deere 4310. Although it is a great machine, I'm not sold on the hydrostatic transmission, and it is a couple of thousand dollars more than the Long. I hope to make a purcahse within the next couple of weeks. Again, I've been researching similar tractors, and can't find anything else that holds up to the Long Ag.
