The slack is located in the bearing I think. I did it like checking a ball joint on a car or truck. Top to bottom. I puled the cover to have a look.Good thing!Their was only one bolt in the outer hub. It is a very tight fit on those bolts. I just cant see them walking out.Is that possible?Thank you both for the help. It's my first time working and owning a dozer. I love it! It's a nice peace of iorn and quite strong. I love to here it run. Do the idler wheels press apart easy? It says it takes 20 ton press in the book.
