I have a 49 allis WD It has a Delco Remy 9H1Q starter which I`m assuming it is a 6 volt starter and a 12 volt alternator. I`m trying to find out what kind of voltage regulator to install on it. The old ones numbers can`t be read. I think it has been converted to 12 volts and how would i wire it.
