In Reply to: Allis D 15 shuttle clutch stuck in forward posted by Kevin C on Friday, January 30, 2009:

I had the same problem on my D-14 but it was in reverse. The friction lining came loose and doubled up locking it in one position. Needs to be split. They used the same clutch as the torque clutch, found this out from an old Allis parts book, that a dealer in my area has. You must have a commercial D-15 cause from what I've been told they were only available in the commecial line. They were painted yellow and had no reverse on the gear shift pattern, they were also fitted with the Henry loader and Backhoe Mark IV or Mark V ALLIS bought them out in the early 60's. Hope this can help you out somewhat. I had to learn this out the hard way before we had computors. Sincerely Gene
