Usaully the rod/cap correlation marks face the cam.Replace rods are not marked and should b installed with the piston clamp screw facing the cam.
The rods have an off set {Large Side} this always faces away from the closest main bearing. 1 and 3 long side towards rear and 2 and 4 long side towards the front.
