Mine is a WD 45 gas. First check fluid level with all cyclinders up. Back side comes up first then the fork. I put a ball valve before the quick disconnect under the seat. If I want the back up only shut the valve. If want the spike up, open valve, rear will come up then the spike. Play with it a little it works well for me. Hope this helps.
