How much is a 1939 wd allis worth in North Dakota or anywhere?

My father-in-law just purchased a 1939 wd allis and is wondering what it is worth. He has 3 diferent attachments with it. He wanted me to say that they are mid-attach. I don't know anything about tractors so I'm not sure if that makes any sense. He bought it and the attachments at an auction sale for $250. He says it runs. Did he get ripped off? I don't think so. It is in fair shape. Couple of dents in the tin and needs some paint but everything else looks pretty good. If you know your tractors please e-mail me. It looks like a fun project but I want to make sure it is worth the time and energy to rebuild. You have to start somewhere. This will be my first tractor restore.
