I'm looking to buy a model b with serial # b46316. As near as I can tell this is a 1940-1941 model b with a 116ci engine.
Does this sound correct?? If so, I'm trying to figure out what horse power this engine/tractor has.
It has a pto and a 3 point hitch on it.
The only possible problems with this tractor is the right front wheel looks loose. I think it is a $40 fix with new bearings. And the right rear tire is loose. It is rocking on two of the clips that holds the rim to the wheel( there are 4 of these clips.)If it is a simple thing like adjusting the rim on the wheel, that's cool. If not, I think I'm looking at a new rim. Looks like about a $300 fix for new rim and mounting of tire.
I would like to use it for small crop plantings about 6 acres right now, to a maximum of maybe 10acres in the future.
Would I be able to use a 2 bottom plow with this tractor??
What size disc could I use with it???
What size brush hog could I use with it??
Any thoughts you might have would greatly appriciated.
Thanks for any and all help.
