What loader do you have, there were many loaders that fit a WD. Our Du-All could do very well and lift a lot. How heavy are the bales? We never lifted round bales, but lifted large quantities of loose hay with a hay fork that was about 8 foot out front. You need to see the loader specs on the loader you are using. A WD might handle 1500lbs+ I think, but it may be too much without lots of ballast on the back end.
