Think problem is more complicated, just my luck, it will go in gear both forward and reverse. I think maybe something behind the rod that broke might be problem. If I get the time I am going to take gear selctor and front of the swlector area apart to determine if something behind rod broke. It just slides into hole as far as it will go contacting nothing. Again thanks for your help and perhaps I will get back with you on parts. Michael
