Theres 2 seals on the input shaft of the injector pump (assuming its a Roosa(think other brands would be the same)) if there bad it would leak fuel into the timing cover area and into the oil. If seals are installed slightly wrong they tend to leak. It would be the first and easiest place I'd Think to check.
