I have a '52 WD that appears to be leaking from the hydraulic system into the transmission. I understand that there is an upgrade kit available for this repair. I am wanting to gain some insight as how to go about making this repair. I have an IT manual as well as a AC dealer's service manual. I guess I just want to be sure where I am to seperate the tractor. Is it the joint right in front of the gear shift and right under the battery box? Are there several linkages and other connections that must also be disconnected? How far apart must I seperate the two halves of the tractor to facilitate removal of the shaft? Does the hydraulic pump need to be completely removed from the tractor? I realize this is a lot of questions but I just want to start off on the right foot. Thanks for any info you can give.
