Just obtained an old Allis Chalmers. I have a Allis Chalmers WD 1953, That turns over very slow, and doesn'r even fire.. I had the starter rebuilt and have changed it to a 12 volt coil and battery. Can anyone tell me if the ground should be positive or negitive? and give some help as to how large of a 12 volt battery should I have in it.
Please give me should help...
tks
