Trying to help a neighbor get info to start a 5040 Diesel, he got the tractor as a result of a death in the family. The only way he can get it to start is to use a booster battery although the battery is fully charged, he also has to use starting fluid each and every time no matter what the weather.Does this tractor have glow plugs or some way to pre-heat
before starting. There are no readable markings on the dash panel. Any help on this matter would be much appreciated.
