Hello,
I came by a very nice Allis Chalmers stationary engine - have pictures but don't know how to attach.
Not sure what the unit is worth or what it's used for.
People have expressed an interest in buying it but I don't know what is a fair price.
Hoping I can get some feedback, advice.
The sheetmetal and radiator screen are in really good shape - looks like original paint too!
Engine turns over, magneto has strong blue spark, carb works. Problem: 1 cylinder has 30 lbs compression, the other 3 have none. Hoping it's due to stuck valves after sitting for so long. I plan to take valve cover off to inspect. Other than that - appears in great shape!
Here's info of I.D. plate:
Power Unit Model B-125
Bore 3-3/8", stroke 3-1/2
Displacement 125 cu in
S/N PU 72752B
My cell phone is 805-801-0367
Thanks!
