I have a newly acguired D17 that does not like to stay in the high side of the hand clutch. The low side locks in fine. A knowledgable AC man says the hand clutch just needs to have the shims adjusted, which is a fairly precise job. An AC dealer says the tractor needs to be split, something about worn out rollers. Any opinions?
