I have a early version D 17 with lights on the radiator shell. My problem I believe is in the wiring. I put a new generator on and proceeded to hook power back up to the battery and sparks flew when I did. I know I hooked it back up right and am starting to wonder if there is a short the cause the generator to go in the first place. Any ideas? Thanks Bob
