I recently purchased a 2010 tractor and was in need of getting an extra key. I tried to order one, but it came in already cut. When I ordered the key from Hoye, they said that if the ignition switch had been replaced some time in the past, that the keys probably wouldn't work. Well, as my luck would have it, the switch must have been replaced in the past. Hoye let me return the unusable keys to them and gave me a credit, but when asked what I could do, the man didn't know because they didn't have any blank blanks. All of thier's were cut. Well, it was now time to pound the pavement and see what I could find locally. After going to every place locally to get a key, I was finally able to locate the blanks at a local place in Birmingham, Al. The key blank for my tractor, and it maybe for all Yanmars, I don't know, is a ILCO MS13. If you are in need of a key blank, you can call them at 205-328-1122 and ask for Shane. Tell him Bob Crowder said that he had the blanks. He will probably remember the transaction, because it took almost a month and a half to get the blanks in. He had to order fifty of them so I bought a few extra, but I know he probably has around 40 left.
