Hi NIck,
Sounds like we are at about the same place with this one, no info and no sellers jumping out on this one. Thought of using 2" X 3" tube for the body and 3/4" steel for the mounting pads to the rear axel. I'm not under the impression that heavy weight construction would hurt us, just add some traction. Thinking about starting with a section of the 2X3 bent in a U section with equal legs that would rake slightly twords the rear at the top. The U section would be tall enough to get on and off the tractor without a head clearance problem and wide enough to bolt to the mounting hole pattern in the casting of the rear axel. One could also bend another shorter U section of the same tube to form a roof section and be welded to the top of the larger tube. I'm thinking about moving the work light up to the ROPS and moving the factory flashers onto the rear of the rear bar so they can be seen a little better. Lots of thoughts here and if a vendor doesn't pick up this job to make some money it looks like we will have to at least for ourselves. I can see the concern about not having the testing and engineering done on something we might make at home but I think I would rather have something there than nothing there.
