It's the "won't go into gear" that's vague.

If it was stored without having the clutch pedal locked down, it's probably frozen internally. There are tricks you can try, but it might require disassembly.

Water in the fluid is no big deal. You can do things to get the water out, but it's likely due for new fluid anyway.
