My Fx22 just devloped a little issue, As I was working - pulling a blade it started to heat up, the temerpature guage started to creep up and the it all of a sudden fell and did not register at all. The tractor did get hot and overheated. I looked at it the overflow tank had popped the lid, but had not boiled over. the engine seemed hot, but no way to tell with the guage out.
I was thinking a new thermostat? but do think it could be the temperature sending switch? or maybe a good idea to replace both? I had an overheating issue when i first bought it, but getting the correct mix and amount of anti freeze helped that problem. Any advice would be appreciated.
