As rare as that is with a Yanmar, that does point to a pump failure. Usually with a hitch lock-up, you remove and service the lift mechanism. But I'm still not sure about your control lever mechanism. So there are the three possibilities, and unless someone else wants to weigh in, I guess you just have to go through them all until problem solved.
But first, did you make sure the rear-lift stop valve didn't somehow get closed? I think on yours it's a turn-knob in the seat area.
