Darrell, I just had this problem on my 2210D. The first thing I did was to remove the wire from the sending unit/pressure switch to ohm out the wiring, and I noticed oil came out. There should no be oil on the wire side of the oil switch as it is a diaphram switch. I put the wire back on and the light stayed out for 40 to 50 minutes than came back on. I checked the oil pressure with a guage and it stayed at 35 psi for over 2 hours, so I installed a new switch and all has been well. I too have never seen a switch do this before. Good luck
