Robbie, antifreeze lowers the freeze temp and raises the boil point, so you want it year round. For the proportions, go by the label, not a rule of thumb. It's the capacity of the system, not just the rad. I'd guess that including the overflow it's about a gallon on yours, but you can get a manual in English for it at Murray Publishing.
