Posted by Herman A. Burney Jr. on Friday, July 03, 2009:

I have a Yanmar Grey Market tractor which is similar to the Yanmar 2200.

I used the tractor and the last time I used it I had no problems.

When I went to restart it, it started fine. But when I went to put it into gear, it would not go into gear and just 'ground'. Almost like the clutch was not working.

I turned the tractor off, put it into gear and then tried to start it with the clutch depressed. The tractor begin to attempt to roll, as the ignition was turned over. Once again, like the clutch is not working.

Is there an adjustment on the clutch or something that I am overlooking.

Thank You and please respond to my email at
