ok guys I'm having a tough time here! After looking it up on this site and asking the redundant question of "where is the hydraulic screen located", I came away with the following information "The screen is on the right side of the transmission, behind a cover that has three bolts roughly 1" apart in a triangle".
The problem is there are two of those covers on the right side of the transmission, the first one sits lower and further to the front, when I remove the cover hyd fluid pours out unimpeded, also a "sleeve" comes out of the hole, I stopped it from draining because I was out of buckets(mow many gallons are in there!). Is this the right cover? once it stops draining is the sleeve removable? is the screen supposed to be directly behind it? there was no screen that came out with the cover so thats why I ask.
The second plate is higher up and further back, when I open it up some fluid comes out (not as much because of it's height) and I can see the gears inside the tranny, but no screen.
The Tractor is an FX22D, Thanks to all especially Danny and Al as they already got me this far!
