After doing some research on the diesel engine, I have come to the conclusion that any temp under 180 is to cool. There will be incomplete combustion and you will have diesel fuel wash which will thin the oil and this could cause engine wear. Any temp over 245 would be to hot. So I shooting for around 200 deg temp.
