Sorry for My question being so confusing I played a round with it a little more this evening. I just bought this tractor and I am not use to the operation of it. I have used a Kubota 4200 for the last 12 years.
It is a small 4 ft hog I was just hogging saplings that's why I was in low range
1. Correct. However Today it was not doing this. It was running hot yesterday when this was happening. The gauge was reading a little high but nothing to be concerned with I thought. When I shut it down I heard it and it was running very hot. Would that cause the surging?
2. You are correct When I am in low range while hogging I will apply the clutch and my tires will continue to keep driving, after today I think that this might be normal (correct?). However when I apply the brake 50% of the time the hog will stop and the tractor will stop, the other 50% of the time it will not stop the hog and keep pushing me.
Thanks Norm and Al
