The sending unit is cheap enough to change out, but in all our years I don't recall a sending unit failing so that it would come on after a time period each time the tractor is run. When they fail, they tend to fail and stay on. If it is indicating low oil pressure each second you run it with low oil pressure increases the chances of substantial damage. Once you have gotten a warning, find the cause.
