Thanks Eddie,
I went to the local dealer in Hartselle,Al and got the correct oil pan gasket. They threw in an oil filter for my trouble. I took it all home and put the oil pan on, filled it with oil and water, cranked it a bit with the Decomp open and then cranked her right up. After warm up I drove it around the yard a few times. No blow by or knocks. Felt really good so far. Not bad for a $150 rebuild(resurfaced head, head gasket, ground valves, rings, rod bearings, all other needed gaskets). Could have been done in a afternoon if I had all the parts and no diversions.
