You were right. The rods and the rod caps had #'s on them. Some how I managed to get them reversed. I switched them to match, torqued it all up and it spins like a top.
No more lates nights in the garage without coffee for me. If I had not gotten the wrong oil pan gasket from the local dealer , I would probably have it running tonight. Thanks.
