Hi,
My mini rebuild is going well, I ground in the valves, had the head resurfaced, placed new rings.

Now I have this issue. When I torque the rod bearing bolts then it seizes up. (with no head on) It should turn by had. But it completely locks up (at 35 lbs)When I loosen them to"way to loose" it turns fine . I wanted to resolve this before putting all back together and having to redo it.

I am sure that the bearings are in correctly.and Of course I oiled everything well during assembly. I am not totaly green at this stuff but I did ask a desil mechanic buddy of mine. He seems to think the bearings are over size. Do you guys know the standard size v/s over size? any other suggestions?
