If it's all original, it's unlikely the bolts stretched or loosened, more likely if it's a replacement gasket.
Can you see on the gasket where the leak was? You can inspect both surfaces yourself (bluing can help show little channels) and a mechanics rule. The head easily goes to a shop, but the block surface also needs checking.
