Sorry Ray, somehow I missed your follow-up until just now.

Can you find out from the seller what kind of fluid was put in? Many tractors take hydraulic oil, but that won't work in a cold yanny (has to be hydraulic/transmission fluid).

Murray Publishing just came out with a translated manual for the 1410. It would be worth the $40.
