My 155D has a tee handle on the valve, so it may not be plastic on yours.
When you drain the oil, if you want to change ALL of the transmission/hydraulic fluid, make certain that you open all three drain plugs. One is on the bottom of the transmission, the other two are not mentioned in my manual. They are on the bottom of the rear axle assembly.
