thanks Mark. so is it normal for it to actually spill on to the top of the tank? not a whole lot. but noticable. also, my 1500 does have the small bottle and i do, from time to time, when i need to start in the cold weather fill it with diesel to start using the TS. but it does not fill automatically with unused fuel.
