Al is dead right. See below the posts on the Clutch and Brakes. You must assume the tractor spent a long time (possible close to a decade) sitting unused. It is almost a given that parts like bearings, seals, brake pads, etc., will have suffered during that long period of inactivity. These are all fixable, however. Seems to be an extremely good price. You didn't mention where you're located and your access to experienced mechanical assistance. Local assistance with problems that are beyond your expertise is a critical factor.
